Building
Look at these lights! Amazing work by local artist and electrician Jesse Scofield and electrician Nate Mooney. Soon, Derek will build a bar underneath them. Over in front of the walk-up window, Derek constructed the bar top out of rough-cut 2x2’s. Now stained, it is ready for a protective coat.
Work on the production space is also coming along. Derek installed furring strips on the walls and ceiling to hang the metal that will clad the walls. Katrina mudded, sanded, and painted the walls of the employee bathroom, preparing the room for the toilet, sink, and accessories.

The online shop is up and working! Merch, stickers, and shrubs are all up to date and available. It’s nice to be getting the digital storefront in order as we prepare to open our physical doors.
The Montana Distiller’s Guild is gearing up for a festival on Saturday, May 2nd, at Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish. This marks the 8th year hosting this festival, and if you’re in the area next month you should absolutely check it out! Terminus won’t make it this year, but we look forward to representing in future years.
Distillery
The off-kilter weather this year has us swinging between springtime cocktails and winter warmers. One shrub that has fit both situations: chokecherry blossom. Using local chokecherries, sugar, and apple cider vinegar, it pairs well with brandy, a lemon twist, and some sparkling water. Or, stir with 2oz bourbon and a cocktail cherry to cozy up in front of the fire. Either way, it’s a bright spot in this crazy spring.
