Building

Derek is almost done framing the walls, floors, and ceiling of the Small Tasting Room. Katrina has been refurbishing one of the old wooden office doors: lightly sanding it down, staining it to match the original color, and adding a protective coating. It will soon be the public entrance on the Virginia St. side of the building and we’ll put back the bell that used to hang at the top.

Business / Community

May found us wrapping up our marketing grant through Headwaters Small Business Development Center (SBDC). In the coming months, you’ll see an unveiling of our new website, complete with pictures of merchandise and products as well as an About Us video. We’ve also had some potential progress on what it will take to move from Phase 1 (small tasting room) to Phase 2 (medium tasting room with seating). More soon.

Distillery

The weather is warming up and spring cocktail experimentation has been tasty. Katrina has already made a batch of rhubarb shrub (great with some gin and sparkling water) and is tinkering with a dreamsicle slushie recipe. We look forward to sharing the results with you all.
